Dorothia Rohner is an award-winning artist and illustrator living near Madrid, Iowa.
She is well known for her botanical and nature paintings. She earned her degree in biological
pre-medical illustration from Iowa State University. Her illustrations have appeared in
garden, science and children's publications. Numbers in a Row: An Iowa Number Book is her second picture book.
Her first picture book, Effie's Image, won Learning Magazine's 2006 Teachers' Choice Award.
